Important announcementIf you are hosting with Boyd Design, but sending mail through your ISPs mail server, then we need to know! Over the past 6 months, the efforts of most ISPs to block SPAM has intensified, and this has forced us (along with every other hosting company in the world) to make some modifications to the records associated with all of the domains that we host. These records help to identify the source of an email which allows various systems to verify that it is legitimate and not SPAM. If you are using your own domains mail server in your outgoing mail server setting, then you are already configured correctly. If you are using your ISPs server in your outgoing mail settings, please email: support@boyddesign.com.au and let us know so we can check your settings. Product of the monthWe are very please to announce the launch of the latest version of BCMS. Apart from the spiffy new look complete with logo redesign, the new improved system includes, among other things, a new "publish by date" function, that allows admin to set a date for an article or page to appear and then disappear again. Perfect for running competitions or events. It is also packing a brand new captcha verification module that allows you to select from a variety of alternative methods. A bit more interesting than their "enter the number" solution. The new design continues with our commitment to "keeping it simple" and provides an intuitive but powerful content management system that allows you to easily maintain and expand your website. The new version of BCMS is available with all new installations and for existing customers. (POA). There are two reasons that these links are important.
When it comes to assessing the "quality" of an incoming link, you really only need to consider the humans. Don't worry too much about pleasing Google and other search engines because google is constantly trying to align it's system with human needs. Read the full article here.
