2. Offer a free PDF document with tips on saving money. Visitors will provide you with their email address and phone number in return for this free information.

For a stock broker: “Our 3 best stock picks from last year and how we found them”

3. Run a competition

Offer a give away in exchange for some input into your product.

Here is an examples:

For a hair dresser: Run a survey on the worst celebrity hair cuts in 2010. Visitors enter their contact details and receive a 20% discount voucher for voting.

Once you have a lead generating device on your website you just need to deliver a regular stream of traffic to it. Search Engine Optimisation or Adwords are both great solutions to this, as are well placed media advertisements.
