Competitors in The National Energy Essay Competition which closes on August 22nd are required to address these complex issues in a 10 000 word essay which will be judged by industry and academic leaders. A rigorous and comprehensive response which addresses a broad range of issues including societal and technological factors, the political climate, issues of population, transport and living patterns as well as anticipating future challenges will be required to take one of the two $20 000 prizes. 

As you will see, the site was designed for maximum accessibility as competition entrants will require a lot of specific information. It also contains an online registration form.
